PG ESaver loadable coupons are back

I've been telling people in my classes that PG ESaver loadable coupons are no longer available. Well they are back. Yay!!! I love it when I can load coupons on to my Smith's card because I can get twice the savings.

Should I travel size it?

When a coupon is a week away from getting ready to expire. You can go to Target or Wal-Mart, basically any store that has travel/trial size items and use a coupon. Make sure to read the coupon carefully. Some coupons will say excludes trial or travel size. This coupon can not be used on these items. Sometimes it will also give a size limit. If the trail size is lower than the limit then you can not use the coupon on trial sizes.
With that being said, some coupons will let you use it on a trial size item. So before the coupon expires make it over to the trial section and use your coupons. I suggest waiting until the week before it expires because you might get a Wow deal on a bigger size.
Use the coupon if you get it for Free or close to Free , when purchasing a trial sizes item.

Double Coupon Tip

Here are a few tips to make the Double Coupon Days experience better.

• Make sure you print all your coupons.
• Make sure to load all your E-coupons to your Smith’s card
• If you want to be a crazy coupon shopper like I did this morning then make sure to list in order of most important to least important the items you want to get. I made that mistake today. With 25 other people trying to get the deals that I wanted I missed out on a lot things I wanted to get. So just make a list. Then you know what to go to first.
• If you don’t want to go that early and I don’t blame you, then just find out when the store is going to restock and catch the deals on that day.
• Keep in mind it is always worth going and just checking out deals for yourself. You never know what you will find. Plus you might have coupons that other ladies do not have.
• It can be very frustrating to want to get a good deal and your not able too. This double coupon event is great because it goes until the 29th. They are going to restock by then. So don’t get discouraged. I know couponing can be sometimes.
• Keep in mind that we will be getting more coupons on Sunday and you can also catch those GREAT deals as well.
• Just have fun! Coupon shopping is a lot of fun for me because I remind myself that deals come and go. I will just catch the next one. Today a few of the ladies were talking about wanting the Dawn dish soap while we waited for the doors to open. Dawn dish soap goes on sale for $.50 at other stores as well. So I didn’t even bother going. I walked past the isle and there was a crowed of women reaching and grabbing for the soap. That deal will come around at that price or less at other stores, I promise! Chin up.
• I try to be courteous of other customers. There were people there today that wiped out the Ketchup even though there was 5 other women standing behind them wanting some as well. Deals will come and go. Be courteous.

Have fun! This is a fun shopping trip and worth the time.

Are you Prepared?

Some neighborhoods in Spanish Fork are going to do a Mock disaster in the Fall, my neighborhood is one that is participating. So my husband and I have been asked to be block captains for about 25 homes. To get prepared for this we've passed around a questioner for each family to look over and review so they can see how prepared they are.

Some of the questions are:

Does your family have a communications plan for contacting family members who may not be home at the time a disaster occurs?
(many husbands work away from home. If a disaster happens the phone lines and power may be out. Do you know how you can get word to him?) I have two places to meet if a disaster strikes so that you can meet up there. My family will meet at home if it's safe or our church building if it's not.

Does your family have a plan to evacuate your home in case of an emergency?
we have little ones in my home and my husband works about 25 minutes from us. So we thought about several scenarios that would be the best for me to get both or my kids (3yrs and 18mths) out of the house safely. Think about what you would do now and plan it out. When there is an emergency you will need to act quickly. Better be prepared now.

Do you have a 72 hour kit for each person in your home?
I will be honest we didn't. We had everything we needed just not put together. So today I put one together for my entire family. Here is what to put in your 72 hour kit , or 72 hour kit checklist . Now this can be catered to your needs. The best way to think about it is what will I need if I no longer can live in my home for 72 hours and nether can anyone else. We have a tent attached to our 72 hour kit so we can have some shelter. Do keep in mind weight, you want to be able to carry it when there is an emergency.
Once I assembled it I put it in a place that is easy to get to in case we only have a few minutes to leave the house. I will most likely be home alone with our two kids so I need to be able to get out with the kids and our 72 hour kits.

Do the adults in your house know how to shut off the electricity?
This is something you would need to know. So I would find out.

These are just a few of the questions on the list. Things to think about. It never hurts to be prepared. In Fact it's wise.

I love Jamba Juice. My husband and I have been trying to make smoothies similar to Jamba Juice for almost 5 years now. We came close once but not quite. We make good smoothies but not quite Jamba Juice. They are just super yummy.
